Online Learning Specialist, Learning and Development
SUMMARY
INCCRRA is seeking an Online Learning Specialist to join our Learning and Development department. This position provides customer service and support for online trainings through the Gateways i-learning System.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify completion records and ensure accurate data entry into the DTP system
- Generate and provide monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports on course completions
- Analyze data from multiple sources to identify training needs and inform course revision schedules
- Participate in user testing for new online courses and features
- Develop a working knowledge of all 100 online courses, including structure and functionality
- Assist customers with completing online course activities via phone and email
- Provide basic technical support to users of the Gateways i-learning System website
- Create and configure course shells for new trainings
- Duplicate and reconcile data and records for hybrid courses
- Convert training manuals and materials into digital formats for virtual delivery
- Support the Instructional Design Manager and team with project management tasks and enrollment period transitions
- Review and maintain internal operations manuals to ensure up-to-date procedures
- Provide technical assistance, logistical support, and on-site hosting at Registry-verified conferences and events
SUPERVISORY DUTIES This position has no supervisory duties.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED Less than once per week and relatively little "routine" work; considerable opportunity for improving methods and the necessity to make decisions.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION This person should have some ability to adapt to changing circumstances or an ability to problem solve. Excellent oral and written communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree or higher or equivalent work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Teams, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience with computer operations and online learning a plus
EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE REQUIRED General computer/email skills, more than a basic understanding and experience with Microsoft Excel, some accounting software experience (any system).
EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED
Moodle, Adobe Acrobat, and InDesign.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently. Any additional language skills are a plus.
