Role Summary: INCCRRA is seeking a Senior Program Specialist to join our Professional Development Department. An individual in this position supports the newly developed apprenticeship program by interfacing with statewide program partners, supporting program participants, and reviewing all required program documentation. This position also may delegate work to team members, train new employees as needed, and perform quality checks in the assigned program area.

What will you be doing?
- Will aid in launching a newly developed program in partnership with the Illinois Department of Human Services.
- Connects with program participants and statewide partner agencies by way of email and phone communication.
- Reviews various documentation required by program parameters for accuracy and completeness.
- Works independently to make decisions and move work forward.
- Pulls reports, gathers information, and confirms the information recorded is accurate.
- Researches and gathers information pertinent to program development.
- Completes all duties of Specialist and directly supports Program Manager.
- Reviews policies and procedures collaborates with other Senior Specialists to recommend programmatic updates and efficiencies across department.
- Delegates work to team members.
- Trains new employees, leads training sessions for department as needed.
- Performs quality checks.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and abilities we are looking for:
- Associate's degree required bachelor's degree preferred with 3 or more years of experience.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and maintains a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office Skills
- Ability to problem solve, set priorities, and follow through.
- Experience working with a newly developed program.
- Ability to navigate internal data computer system, DTP (Data Tracking Program)
